The BFA Awards, sponsored by HSBC
Bank and Express Newspapers, showcase the UK’s best-performing
franchisors in a booming industry worth an annual £10
billion to the economy.
Companies entering this year’s awards
could nominate themselves in three categories – HSBC
Award For Enterprise, the Daily Express Brand Builder of the
Year and British Franchise Association Franchisor of the Year,
where the theme was “Planning for Success”.
HSBC’s Head of Franchising, Cathryn Hayes, said: “The breadth and
quality of all the Finalists in this year’s awards have been extremely
impressive but the judges felt VIP Bin Cleaning clearly demonstrated an enterprising
approach in their drive for expansion both in the UK and overseas. Their commitment
to ensuring that the existing franchisees understand and support their actions
means that the company’s growth plans have a firm foundation.
"HSBC has been supporting the franchise industry for over 20 years and the
successful business models of VIP Bin Cleaning and all the other Finalists in
the 2006 Awards demonstrate the continuing strength of the franchise market.”
Director General of the bfa, Brian Smart, said: “The Franchisor of the
Year Awards recognise the very best within our industry – those who constantly
strive for excellence to achieve success both for themselves and their networks.
“We congratulate VIP Bin Cleaning on their achievement in the HSBC Enterprise
Category”.
Express Newspapers’ Business Advertising Manager Yvette Taylor added: “VIP
Bin Cleaning has established and developed a great brand and everyone should
be justly proud - we look forward to sharing their success story with our readers.”
